Indiana Senate Republicans took a call Friday morning from President Trump as he continues to pressure them to redistrict the U.S. House maps for the state ahead of schedule.
Trump is trying to add Republicans to the U.S. House in 2026 and has already convinced Texas and Missouri to redraw their districts.
Indiana Senator Tyler Johnson of Leo posted a statement on social media a few hours after the phone call with the President, saying he supported redistricting the state.
He was also among the lawmakers who attended a meeting at the White House with Trump on the issue in August.
