Victims of Apparent Gas Leak Identified

The victims of an apparent gas leak at a Fort Branch residence have been identified.

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Dylan Coston of Haubstadt died while 24-year-old Faith Brown of Evansville is in critical condition.

Deputies responded around 8:15 p.m. to a house at Willard and Strain Streets in Fort Branch and found the couple unresponsive in the basement.

It appears the pair were the victims of a gas leak.

The investigation continues.
