The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says no serious injuries were reported Monday afternoon when a North Knox School bus collided with a Jeep at the intersection of US 41 and Jones Gap Road.
The driver and a passenger of the Jeep were transported to the hospital with only minor injuries.
The sheriff’s office says the school bus was occupied by twenty-nine children and the driver.
Only one student on the bus complained of pain.
A preliminary investigation shows that the school bus was westbound on Pierce Road attempting to cross US 41 to Jones Gap Road when it pulled into the path of the Jeep which was southbound on US 41.
