Knox Co.: Code Red Test

The Duke Energy Edwardsport IGCC Plant in partnership with the Knox County Emergency Management Agency and Knox County Local Emergency Planning Committee, will conduct an 8.7-mile radius test of the CodeRED Alerting System on Thursday, September 18th between 1:00-1:30pm.

The alert may be received by registered CodeRED users in Knox and Daviess County via voice phone call, text, email, and through the CodeRED app.

The CodeRED Alerting System is a FREE service that provides high speed mass notification via your cell phone.

To participate in the service, go to the website knoxcounty.in.gov/codered.
