Indiana National Guard to Provide Support for ICE Operations

The Indiana National Guard will deploy around 50 guardsmen to provide administrative and logistics support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in the state by mid-September.

The guardsmen will not engage in law enforcement functions or make arrests, but will assist with tasks such as data entry and vehicle maintenance.

The deployment is part of a nationwide effort to support ICE operations.
