Gas prices are expected to remain low for the upcoming Labor Day weekend.
AAA says the national average for a gallon of regular should stay below last year’s average of three dollars and 33 cents and should remain relatively low for the rest of the summer as long as Gulf Coast refineries are not hit by hurricanes.
Air flights should also be cheaper this holiday.
AAA says domestic round-trip flights are six-percent less expensive than they were this time last year.
Travelers will also find national hotel rates down eleven percent and car rental prices are down three percent.
