No Taillights Lead to Arrest of Vincennes Man for Possession of Meth

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says a Vincennes man was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine Wednesday night after he was pulled over for having no taillights on State Road 550 at Wheatland Road.

53-year-old Charles Hayes was taken into custody after K-9 Goran indicated there were illegal drugs in his pick-up truck.

A search turned up a purple and green rubber containing methamphetamine.

Hayes was released from jail on $5,000 bond.
