Dubois County Prosecutor Beth Schroeder says a Stendal man was sentenced earlier this month to the maximum of 15 years in prison following his plea of guilty to Dealing in Methamphetamine as part of a negotiated plea agreement.
The court also ordered that 42-year-old Jason Keller be eligible to participate in the IDOC’s Recovery While Incarcerated Program after serving five years.
RWI is an addiction recovery program offered by the IDOC that Courts often consider when determining whether to grant a sentence modification.
Schroeder says Keller’s sentencing is one of several high-level felony drug cases filed in Dubois County Superior Court that have been resolved in 2025.
