Washington Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Forgery & Possession of Methamphetamine

An Indiana State Trooper arrested a Washington man on drug charges Friday morning following a traffic stop for driving with expired plates near Center Street and NE 11th Street in Washington.

Police say 50-year-old Martin Hoevel was not wearing a seat belt and that his temporary license plates had been altered and expired in March.

Hoevel was arrested for Forgery, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.
