The Indiana Department of Transportation says alternating lane closures are scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 5th on I-64 in Gibson and Vanderburgh Counties.
The lane closures will occur between the 25-mile marker and 30-mile marker, near the U.S. 41 interchange and the I-69 interchange.
They will allow for pavement patching operations which will take place between 5:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily.
Work will begin in the westbound lanes, followed by eastbound lanes.
One lane of traffic will remain open during lane closures.
Work is anticipated to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.
