Students return to the classroom next week.

In Daviess County, North Daviess students go back Tuesday, August 5th.

Students in Washington, Washington Catholic, and Barr-Reeve schools head back on Wednesday, August 6th.

Drivers need to be on the lookout for school buses dropping off or picking up students and knowing when to stop.

If a school bus stops on a two-lane road, or on a multi-lane roadway, with no barrier between lanes, and the red flashing lights are activated, and the stop arm is extended, all motorists must stop.

However, on multi-lane roadways with a grassy and/or concrete barrier, only vehicles behind the bus must stop.

Vehicles approaching from the opposite side are not required to do so.
