Bloomington Man Arrested After Threatening Girls with Rock

A Bloomington man was arrested for allegedly threatening to strike two girls with a rock and forcing them to walk multiple miles without food or water.

The girls, ages 10 and 12, were reportedly injured during the incident.

Patrick McCoin faces charges of Neglect of a Dependent, Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, and Criminal Mischief.

The Monroe County Prosecutor’s Office has not yet filed official charges, and the case is still under investigation.
