Road Closure Planned for State Road 48 In Sullivan Co.

IN-DOT says State Road 48 near Shelburn in Sullivan County is scheduled to close Tuesday, July 29th for a bridge replacement project.

The closure will occur over Kettle Creek between North Washington Avenue and North County Road 125 East.

This project is expected to last through the beginning of November, depending on the weather.

The official detour will be U.S. 41 to State Road 246 to State Road 159.

Local traffic will have the access up to the point of closure.
