U.S. 41 Southbound Re-Opens near Ft. Branch

Good news for those of you who use U.S. 41 to travel to Evansville and other communities in southwest Indiana.

The Indiana Department of Transportation says

U.S. 41 southbound has re-opened just south of Fort Branch.

The southbound lanes of the highway had been closed for a pipe replacement project.

Crews were able to get this pipe replaced and reopen the lanes ahead of schedule.

Southbound traffic had been re-routed onto State Road 168, I-69 and State Road 68 back to U.S. 41.
