Vigo Co. Deaths Ruled Murder/Suicide

The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office released additional details Friday concerning the deaths of two people Wednesday night in northern Vigo County.

The sheriff’s office says the deceased are 59-year-old Keith Russell Chaney and 63-year-old Kathy Ann Cunning, both from Vigo County.

They were brother and sister and authorities say their deaths were the result of a murder suicide where Cheney shot Cunning and then took his own life.
