Americans are getting ready for the Fourth of July.
This week will be a short one for many working Americans as Independence Day falls on a Friday this year.
For some, the holidays have already started.
AAA is predicting a record number of travelers this year, with over 72-million people expected to travel 50 miles or more for the holiday.
That includes over 60-million hitting the roads.
Experts say the busiest travel days will be Wednesday July 2nd and Sunday July 6th.
They also advise travelers to leave early in the day, as the afternoon hours are expected to be the most congested.
