Off-Duty Trooper Locates Missing 3-Year-Old Washington Boy

An off-duty Indiana State Trooper located a missing three-year-old Washington boy Tuesday.

Senior Trooper Mitchel Wier heard about the missing child and assisted Washington Police and others in the search effort.

After about 15 minutes, Trooper Wier found the child who was safely returned to his mother.

The ISP says this is one of the advantages of Troopers having off-duty use of their police cars.
