Businesses and residents in Greene, Monroe, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, Morgan and Owen counties may qualify for low interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration following damage incurred from storms that rolled through Indiana on May 16th.
Beginning Monday, June 23rd, the SBA and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security will operate a Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Greene County to assist residents in filing claims and answering questions regarding potential assistance to recover from damage.
The center is for those impacted by the May 16th storms only.
The Disaster Loan Outreach Center will be open through the 28th at the Greene County Events Center East End Business Offices, 45-03 West State Road in Bloomfield.
Hours of operation will be 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday, June 23rd through the 25th, Noon until 8:00 PM on June 26th and from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM June 27th and 28th.
SBA Customer Service representatives will be on hand at the DLOC to answer questions about the loan program and help with applications.
