Washington Police arrested two people on Saturday after shots were fired into a residence on Northeast 6th Street.
A vehicle that left the scene was later stopped by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies and two handguns were found.
Police say an argument occurred outside an establishment where multiple shots were fired in the air.
The altercation then moved to the residence where a fight occurred, and shots were fired into the home.
During their investigation, police seized an additional handgun and about 30 grams of suspected Cocaine.
23-year-old Juan Manuel Lopez Jr of Kendleton, Texas, who was in the vehicle, and 27-year-old Eleazar Astello of Hidalgo, Texas, who was at the residence, were arrested for Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon, Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon, and Pointing a Firearm.
Astello was also charged with Dealing in Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine.
No injuries were reported.
