Indiana Lays Off Dozens of Employees

Dozens of state employees have been laid off as Indiana agencies react to recent state budget cuts.

The Indiana State Library laid off 16 employees, the Indiana School for the Deaf let 14 workers go, the Department of Education laid off six, and the Commission for Higher Education laid off three.

The Indiana State Museum laid off several employees last week.
