Daviess Community Hospital Dedicates Memorial Garden Honoring Dr. Suresh Lohano

Daviess Community Hospital held a dedication ceremony Wednesday for the Dr. Suresh Lohano Memorial Garden, honoring the life and legacy of one of the hospital’s most respected physicians.

Dr. Lohano died in a car crash on Interstate 64 in Harrison County in July of last year.

The garden was made possible through a $40,000 grant from the Community Foundation through the TrueScripts Foundation Fund.

Located near the hospital’s Same Day Surgery entrance, the space includes a paved reflection area, picnic table, and commemorative plaque.
