Gibson Co. Sheriff’s Deputies Honored for Life Saving Efforts

Four Gibson County Sheriff’s deputies were recognized by the sheriff’s office and the county’s Merit Board Tuesday for their lifesaving actions during two separate incidents earlier this year.

Deputies Eric Powell, Wyatt Hunt, and Wes Baumgart were presented with awards for their actions in responding to a cardiac event in the town of Francisco.

Deputy Quinten Might’s award was the result of his actions at a cardiac event that occurred at a local manufacturing business.
