Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck by Car in Ft. Branch

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a pedestrian on a scooter was struck and injured by a car on Wednesday afternoon near Locust and Walters Streets in Fort Branch.

The unnamed pedestrian was flown by helicopter to an area hospital while the driver was taken to Deaconess Gibson Hospital for a blood test.

The driver of the car, 30-year-old Jon Roeder of Fort Branch, was arrested for Driving While Suspended with a Prior Conviction.
