Following the recent storms that struck Greene County, the Vigo County Health Department will be accepting tires from Greene County residents as they work to restore their community.
Greene County residents can drop off up to 10 tires at the Vigo County Health Department – Vector Control Division – for two weeks, at no cost.
Tires will be accepted on Tuesday, May 27th following the Memorial Day Holiday.
They can be dropped off through June 10th from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM at 12-41 7th Avenue in Terre Haute.
Tires can be dropped off by appointment only.

Bring your I-D since proof of residency will be required.
Semi tires, tractor tires, or larger must have pre-authorization.
No businesses, tire retailers, salvage yards, auto service centers or trucking companies are allowed.
