Former Eli Lilly CEOs Donate Funding for New IU Health Institute

Former Eli Lilly CEOs and their wives are contributing 20-million dollars to create a new IU Health institute.

The funding comes from John Lechleiter and Randall Tobias, and their wives Deborah and Sarah.

IU Health will match the donation, bringing the total contributed to 40-million dollars.

The Tobias-Lechleiter Institute for Clinical Innovation will work on disease detection and treatment, offering medical studies to tens of thousands of patients each year.
