A Dubois County Judge has granted INDOT access to properties along the proposed Mid-States Corridor path in Indiana.
The court order allows the state to access land for survey purposes, despite residents’ objections.
Over one hundred residents and property owners attended a rally to protest the project, claiming it will destroy farmland in southern Indiana.
Another court hearing is scheduled for July 2nd, where INDOT will seek a preliminary injunction to move forward with the project.
