The Director of the Greene County Emergency Management Agency Roger Axe says a multi-service center has been established at the former National Guard Armory at 2000 West State Road 54 to aid tornado victims.
The site will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to aid those in need as well as accepting donations with the help of The United Way.
Representatives of the Red Cross, Baptist Disaster Relief of Indiana, and other agencies will be there to help.
Items needed include bottled water, hygiene products, diapers, wipes, and work gloves as well as money.
Post disaster counseling and mental health services will be provided at the Linton Assembly of God at 15-03 “A” Street NE Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. this week.
Also damage from the tornado can be reported by calling 2-1-1.
