Brown Co. State Park Cleaning Up After Friday’s Severe Storms

Many animals were hurt or killed after severe weather struck the Brown County State Park on Friday.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says a horse and two dogs did not survive, and many horses were hurt, but officials have not specified how severe the injuries were.

Horse trails, as well as the Horsemen’s Campground, are closed until storm debris is cleaned up.

The remainder of Brown County State Park is open.
