Governor Braun to Allow Execution of Benjamin Ritchie to Proceed

Governor Mike Braun says he is following the recommendation of the State Parole Board, and allowing the execution of Benjamin Ritchie to proceed as planned for May 20th.

Ritchie shot and killed Beech Grove Police Officer William Toney in 2000.

Family and friends of Officer Toney pled with the Indiana Parole Board this week to make sure Ritchie is put to death.
