Deaconess Memorial Hospital Receives Nearly $950,000 for Beds and Mattresses

Thanks to a generous gift from an anonymous donor, the Memorial Hospital Foundation has designated the donation for the purchase of 46 new beds and advanced mattresses for Memorial Hospital’s Critical Care, Medical, and Post-Surgical Units, and six Birthing Beds for Labor and Delivery.

The total investment from the foundation for the project is nearly $950,000.

Officials say the addition of the state-of-the-art beds and mattresses represents a significant upgrade to hospital infrastructure, directly benefiting patients, nurses, and hospital operations.
