Daviess Co. Arrests

Washington Police arrested a Washington man Tuesday on a warrant for three counts of Fraud Between $750 and $50,000, three counts of Theft where the value of property is between $750 and $50,000, two counts of Fraud, and two counts of Theft.

64-year-old Jean Claude Jorelus was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $50,000 bond.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 55-year-old Thomas Leroy Lay of Saint Francisville, Illinois Tuesday on a warrant for Counterfeiting.

Lay was released from jail on $10,000 bond.

And Washington Police arrested 25-year-old Tessa Janine Austin of Washington Tuesday on a warrant for Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury.

Austin was released from jail on $5,000 bond.

179 inmates were being held in the Daviess County Security Center early Wednesday morning.
