An 18-year-old Seymour man is in custody after opening fire in the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour.
Police say Emiliano Cuevas-Bravo shot toward two library employees, but no one was injured, although one person was hurt by shattered glass.
A patron inside the library tackled the gunman and held him until the police arrived.
Cuevas-Bravo is facing charges of attempted murder, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and intimidation.
Police say he had initially planned to target a school resource officer at Seymour High School before going to the library.
