Cayuga Man Arrested for Sexual Misconduct with a Minor/Possession of Child Pornography

Indiana State Police arrested a Vermillion County man Monday evening on two counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor and ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Th ISP began investigating the matter back in October of 2024 after receiving information that a female child under the age of 14 had been inappropriately touched by an adult male.

The investigation revealed that 40-year-old Carthell Jeys Jr. of Cayuga allegedly committed sexual misconduct with a female child in Vermillion County.

The investigation found that he was in possession of child pornography.
