WPD Officer Guzman Certified as Drug Recognition Expert

The Washington Police Department has announced that Officer Aaron Guzman has become the department’s first certified Drug Recognition Expert.

Officer Guzman recently completed more than 100 hours of training in Zionsville, Indiana and Jacksonville, Florida.

He will be able to utilize his training to assist the Department and others with individuals suspected of operating vehicles while under the influence of narcotics.
