Illinois Veterans’ Homes See Increase in COVID-19 Cases

Several Illinois Veterans’ Homes are experiencing an increase in COVID-19 cases among its veterans and staff.

As of Tuesday, 36 people have tested positive for the virus at veterans’ homes in LaSalle, Manteno, and Quincy.

Most of these cases have presented mild symptoms.

All homes continue to follow CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health infection control guidelines for long-term care facilities.
