Orleans Man Killed in Saturday Crash in Lawrence Co.

The Lawrence County, Indiana Sheriff’s Office says an Orleans man died Saturday evening in a one vehicle crash in the 12-hundred block of VFW Road.

The sheriff’s office says 39-year-old Steven Tillett was northbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his pick-up truck while cresting a hill.

Tillett was ejected from the vehicle when it ran off the road and rolled over.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no occupants of the vehicle.

Toxicology results are pending.
