Plea Deal Reached in Clay Co. Death

A plea deal has been reached between a man and prosecutors in the case of a man found dead in Clay County.

William Matherly was killed in May and detectives fingered Jon McGuff as the man responsible for his death.

They say Matherly had been shot several times.

As part of the plea deal, McGuff admits to voluntary manslaughter charges and will spend the next 20 years in prison.
