The City of Jasper and its contractor are preparing to start Phase 2 of the Downtown Revitalization Project.
The project includes new underground infrastructure, new sidewalks, and curb ramps at intersections for improved walkability in the downtown area.
Pedestrian and vehicle construction signs will go up the week of August 26th.
Demolition and construction are scheduled to begin the week of September 3rd.
As part of the construction, Main Street from Third Street to Fifth Street will be closed to all vehicle traffic for approximately 12 weeks.
