Rosedale Man Arrested Following High-Speed Pursuit in Vigo Co.

State Police arrested a Rosedale man Wednesday after he fled a traffic stop on US 41 near Head Road in Vigo County for driving 70 miles an hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.

That chase reached speeds of up to 140 miles an hour.

The driver, 38-year-old Marc Welsh, eventually pulled over and was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle, Criminal Recklessness with a Vehicle, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Prior Conviction, and Reckless Driving.
