The Orleans Police Department advises construction begins this week on the Monon Trail.
Construction crews will be laying asphalt, and the Orleans section of the trail will be considered under construction for two weeks following completion.
Residents are asked to stay off the trail area during this time.
Until an announcement is made that the trail has reopened to the public, Orleans Police say they will be enforcing trespassing on the trail.
