A Parke County ambulance collided with another vehicle Tuesday morning on US 41 near Head Avenue in Vigo County.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office says the ambulance had its emergency lights on when it attempted to go around a vehicle on the left.
The other vehicle also moved to the left and the ambulance hit it in the rear.
Another ambulance service took the patient that the Parke County ambulance was transporting to Union Hospital.
An EMS worker from the ambulance was also taken for medical treatment.
