DCCF Awards $30,000 Grant to Celestine Fire Dept. for New Fire Engine

The Dubois County Community Foundation has awarded a $30,000 grant to the Celestine Fire Department for the purchase of a new fire engine.

Engine 262 is expected to arrive in late 2025, replacing their current 2003 model.

The foundation says the new equipment will include features designed to enhance the department’s response capabilities and overall efficiency.
