The 2024-25 school year begins this week for students in the City of Washington.
Students in Washington Community Schools and Washington Catholic Schools head back to the classroom on Friday.
Meanwhile, Barr-Reeve and North Daviess students head back next week.
The start date for North Daviess Schools is Tuesday, August 6th.
And it’s Wednesday August 7th for Barr Reeve Community Schools.
Indiana State Police advise motorists to:
• Always watch for stopped school buses in the morning hours and afternoon hours.
• Watch for children walking to and from school and waiting at bus stops.
• And always keep your eyes on the road and be patient driving behind school buses
