Two More Implicated in Vincennes Attempted Murder Investigation

Three people are now charged in an attempted murder last week at the Autumn Ridge Apartments in Vincennes.

Vincennes Police report two shooters left a vehicle and shot several times into another vehicle that was occupied by 3 adults and 2 juveniles (one was an infant).

The person who was shot had brain surgery at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville to remove a bullet and is now recovering.

The two accused triggermen are 19-year-old Kyvon Ahmed and 18-year-old Calvin Wittmer.

Both face five counts of Attempted Murder in the shooting.

A third person, 23-year-old Madalyn Dennis, is charged with five counts of Conspiracy to Commit Attempted Murder for her alleged role as the driver of the vehicle containing the two alleged shooters.

Wittmer is also charged with Murder in a separate shooting that occurred that same night at a home on North 14th Street.

However, police say the murder and the attempted murder are not connected.
