
A Patoka man was arrested Friday night on a variety of charges and outstanding warrants after he fled from Gibson County Sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies went to an address in Patoka to serve arrest warrants on 24-year-old Colton Linxwiler who fled when they attempted to surround the house.
He was tased and apprehended a short time later.
Methamphetamine and marijuana were found on his person.
In addition to new charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana and Resisting Law Enforcement, Linxwiler was arrested on outstanding warrants for Resisting Law Enforcement, Criminal Recklessness, Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Being Licensed, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Reckless Driving
