Pritzker Signs Landmark Carbon Capture Bill

Illinois is setting the framework for new environmental protections in the state.

Governor Pritzker signed a landmark bill into law that creates nation-leading standards for safety and environmental protection for carbon capture, transport, and sequestration projects in Illinois.

The measure will also drive investment in Illinois and create hundreds of jobs as companies are incentivized to move carbon capture to Illinois.
