Gibson Co. Officials Outline Debris Disposal Options

Gibson County officials have released details concerning the disposal of storm debris resulting from last week’s storms.

Extra bins are set up at the Johnson Solid Waste site for mixed debris.

No hazardous materials are allowed.

The site opened Saturday.

In addition, a large bin for disposal of damaged construction materials will be staged at the Gibson County Highway Building in Johnson starting Monday.

The building is located off State Road 165 and near the trash compactor site.

Gibson County residents may dispose of organic materials like trees and limbs at the Gibson County Compost Site located just east of Toyota, by the Soccer Fields.
