Daviess and Gibson Counties Tied for having Indiana’s lowest unemployment rate in October at 2.4%.
For Daviess County that’s two tenths of a percent higher than October of 2022.
For Gibson County, it was three tenths of a percent higher.
Dubois County had a jobless rate of 2.6% in October, three tenths’ percent higher than the year before.
Martin County’s rate of 2.8% in October was three tenths’ percent higher than October of last year.
Knox County’s unemployment rate last month was 3.0%, three tenths’ percent higher than last year.
Pike County’s jobless rate of 3.1% in October was a half percent higher than October of 2022.
Sullivan County’s unemployment rate last month was 3.6%, up from 3.3 percent the year before.
And Greene County’s October unemployment rate was 3.8%, seven tenths’ percent higher than the previous year.
Indiana’s average October unemployment rate among its 92 counties was 3.3%.
