State Police say a Poseyville couple were involved in two separate alcohol-related crashes Monday night in Posey County.
Police say two of the drivers involved in a three-vehicle crash on State Road 165, just north of I-64 were husband and wife and that alcohol was a contributing factor.
56-year-old Donald Ricketts of Poseyville reportedly called his wife to pick him up after crashing into a semi-tractor trailer.
His wife, 55-year-old Cheral, then crashed into her husband’s vehicle on her was to the crash scene.
Both Ricketts’ vehicles were totaled.
Police say Donald Ricketts had a Blood Alcohol Level of .28% and Cheral Ricketts had a Blood Alcohol Level of .22%.
Indiana’s legal limit is .08%.
