Traffic Stop for Using Cell Phone while Driving Nets Impaired Driver, Drugs and Syringes

State Police arrested an Evansville man on drug charges Monday afternoon after he was pulled over in Vanderburgh County for not wearing his seatbelt and using a cell phone while driving.

49-year-old Bobby Baker is facing preliminary charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Syringes, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance.

Baker is being held without bond in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
